Ludum Dare 25 entry "You are the king" by Tobias Baumann.

You mission is to gather 5'000 counts of food within 200 days. Since I made this a little too hard and there is a lot of hidden info I'll provide some instructions here:

• Your workers will only do one thing at a time. Either they'll gather food, wood, stone or they rest. Each day the workers are busy their happiness will decrease. If it goes below a certain value they'll revolt and stop working at which point you'll need some soldiers. Soldiers will "force" revolting workers back to work. Giving your soldiers some rest will increase their happiness.
• Each day every citizen uses 1 food. If there is not enough food they will starve and die after a couple of days. So make sure you have enough food.
• Workers take a salary of 1 gold each day they are working. Soldiers take a salary of 2 gold each day. If there is no gold available they'll stop working.
• You get 1 gold each day from every unemployed citizen.
• Each house you build will spawn 1 citizen per day if there is food available and if the house isn't full already. Each house has space for 4 citizens.
• Farms will grow crops each day up to a maximum value. Workers harvest these crops and turn them into food.

Controls:

• Right click rotates the camera.
• Mouse wheel zooms in and out.
• Left click on the buttons to build stuff or change the behaviour of workers.
